Art plays a pivotal role in students’ learning when aligned properly to content. Our Art Buying team at CSA Education makes certain that the content demands are thoroughly understood by using an integrated workflow with the editorial team. Our teams work closely to ensure that specs are clearly written and that an appropriate illustrator or artist is chosen for the grade level and subject matter. Clear guidelines that include relevant and contextual information, style, color palette, feel are provided to assure consistency throughout the program and maintain brand fidelity.
So, when the spec calls for a messy, fourth-grade science experiment, we work collaboratively to craft an engaging image that conveys the science content, plus the important and timely reminder to wash your hands! And…we’ll do it on time and on budget…with clean hands to boot.
