Professional Learning Manager

As Professional Learning Manager, Chris oversees and executes PreK-12 professional learning projects, including cross-departmental initiatives and large-scope projects. He ensures the timely, on-budget delivery of projects while adhering to contractual obligations and client guidelines. Chris manages project teams and independent contractors to guarantee the accuracy, consistency, and high quality of all project materials.
Chris has more than a decade of experience in collecting and analyzing data of district instructional resources, determining accessibility and usage of new curriculum, and implementing new curriculum. While working in the classroom as a math teacher, Chris also shined in mentoring new teachers and leading training sessions on processes and best practices. After teaching, he utilized his math expertise as a subject-matter expert to create and develop math lessons and standards-based interactives for one of the largest school districts in the country. He then moved into professional development where he has been able to continue working with school districts and use his expertise in delivering training and providing learning resources.
Highlights from Chris’s career include the following:
- Designing training curriculum by analyzing district instructional resources, determining accessibility and effectiveness, and creating learning materials to optimize student comprehension
- Performing a needs analysis from 50+ district employees to determine effectiveness and accessibility of resources from the new curriculum
- Creating and developing more than 150 K–2 math lessons and 900+ print and digital curriculum resources for a large school district
- Leading a team that utilized industry-leading data to develop and deliver instructional best practices
Chris earned his Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Mathematics Instruction from the University of North Texas, and his Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with Principal Certification from Texas A&M University–Commerce.
Chris is a proud dog dad to his Golden Retriever named Joey. In his spare time, Chris enjoys coaching and participating in CrossFit. He also plays competitive indoor volleyball and travels across the United States for tournaments.
