Christina Jones

As Resource Manager for CSA Education, Christina is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and onboarding diverse freelance talent, with a focus on K-12 and career and technical education. She manages the freelance database, ensuring efficient organization and a streamlined onboarding experience for new contractors. Christina also oversees the preparation of contracts and maintains strong relationships with external talent resources to ensure talent availability for ongoing projects.

Christina began her career in library services, initially serving as a Young Adult Librarian and Department Head, where she managed system-wide acquisitions and program initiatives. She also gained significant experience in community engagement and marketing while working for public library systems. Before coming to CSA, Christina was a Resource Manager for another education vendor, specializing in sourcing talent for STEM and ELA fields and managing internship programs with a focus on DEI initiatives.

Highlights from Christina’s career include the following:

• Serving as an admin lead for the maintenance of the Worksuite database to improve freelance user experience.
• Coaching college professors on course integration and onboarding for digital learning platforms.
• Earning an Employee of the Month award during her time as a Learning Resource Center Technician.
• Leading successful recruitment outreach for HBCU students as part of organizational DEI efforts.

Christina earned her Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Psychology from the University of Dayton, where she graduated cum laude. She also holds a Master of Library and Information Science from Kent State University, specializing in Children’s and Young Adult Public Librarianship. 

In her spare time, Christina is a creative spirit who writes Young Adult books and enjoys sewing. A former Teen Librarian and book reviewer for Voice of Youth Advocates, she remains passionate about literature. She lives in southwest Ohio with her rescued tortie cat, Wicket.
