With 15 years of experience in developing and publishing science programs, Christine Ruiz holds the position of Executive Editor of Science at CSA Education. She oversees all K–12 Science editorial projects, fulfills all contractual obligations with clients, and ensures delivery of all materials on time and on budget. She maintains the accuracy of all projects and materials, keeps them consistent and makes sure all projects adhere to all client-specified guidelines.
Like so many at CSA Education, Christine began her career in education as a teacher. Until 2004, she worked as a third-grade teacher, mastering her skills in behavior management, lesson plan development, student assessment, and curriculum development. In June 2005, she joined Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and grew within the company to become Senior Learning Architect. Additionally, Christine collaborated and authored a revised food safety program with the National Restaurant Association.

Christine received both her Bachelor of Education degree and her Masters of Education degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Her skills stretch from Curriculum Development and eLearning to Adobe Incopy/IPS and Habitat/Inkling. She loves the Atlanta Braves and tries to catch a game whenever she can. Christine is also one of the biggest Disney fans out there. Her two favorite movies are Toy Story and Tangled.
