Peter brings over thirty years of experience in educational publishing for design and project management to CSA Education. Starting his career in 1985, Peter served in various leadership roles in design at Ligature, McDougal Littell, Pearson, and Holt. As Director of Design at Pearson, he produced award-winning science, literature, and math programs and led the company’s first venture into digital development. At Holt, he was a team leader, producing one of the company’s best-selling social studies programs that helped increase Holt McDougal’s market share by twelve percent in its first year of sales. In 2003, Peter joined Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as Senior Design Architect. During his tenure, he captured new markets for the company by designing and producing the company’s first full math program offered on electronic tablets. He also managed several cross-functional teams to produce textbooks in science and technology, positioning Houghton Mifflin Harcourt to take fifty-three percent of market share in this category. Peter became Project Design Manager at SPi Global. While there, he managed project financials, negotiated contracts, managed art buying, and directed offshore teams to produce massive instructional programs for print and technology.

Peter holds a BFA degree in graphic design from the Rhode Island School of Design. He also holds a certificate in Computers in Education/Gaming from Northwestern University and a certificate in People Management and Project Management from the American Business Association. Peter loves learning new technologies and computer programs and is proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Asana, Habitat, and Jira, to name a few.
