Since her start at CSA Education, Rachel has become a valuable member of the team with her devotion to providing high-quality content to clients through attention to detail and collaborative skills.

She has been an integral part of editorial projects with her work in fact-checking and proofreading. Additionally, she has contributed to design projects and has experience with Adobe programs such as InDesign, InCopy, and Acrobat DC.

Rachel’s abilities are showcased with her contributions to the following projects:

  • Fact checking for National Geographic school magazines Explorer Adventurer, Voyager, and Scout
  • Copyediting assistance for Cambium Learning Group LAZ, RAZ Leveled Books, and High/Low Assessments
  • Collaborating with copyeditors to input editorial changes for EL Word Cards for Benchmark Education Company
  • Style check for thirty-eight titles of Florida Leveled Readers TGs and TEQCs
  • Seeking out artists and creating artist sample sheets for Learning A–Z: RAZ Decodable Passages and Lesson Plans, grades K–2
  • Creating weekly project cost summary spreadsheets
  • Receiving and tracking subcontractor invoices

As a firm believer in the power of knowledge and education, she is excited by the prospect of developing the tools with which grades K–12 students and teachers need to succeed.

Rachel has previously worked as an intern for Dalkey Archive Press in Bloomington, Illinois, and as a features reporter for The Vidette.

Rachel holds a BS degree in Print Journalism from Illinois State University.
