CSA Education is thrilled to announce Shimon Brathwaite as our Freelancer of the Quarter for Q3 (July–September 2023)! Shimon is an outstanding member of our Team CSA freelancer database. He is a Subject Matter Expert in Cyber Security and has worked on several projects with CSA, delivering accurate, high-quality work in the very technical, ever-evolving world of Cyber Security. Shimon brings his background as a Cyber Security Professional, writer, and published author to each Cyber Security project that includes manuscripts for textbooks, assessments, and labs.
Shimon started as a Developmental Editor (DE) with us on Cyber Security projects and produced accurate reviews of manuscripts and assessments for highly technical content. This work was quickly followed by a complex Cyber Security lab project with the same client, which involved a steep learning curve with multiple steps in the workflow. Shimon stayed on top of the demands for the project and was always ready and willing to jump in and complete the next step. As two additional labs were added, he consistently delivered high-quality work on time or ahead of schedule, even with the overlapping schedules between the three lab projects. Shimon was very responsive to the client’s comments and questions when receiving feedback from their reviewers for the labs. The client was so pleased with his work that they asked us to ensure he is available for future labs. Overall, Shimon is a pleasure to work with and his response time and communication skills are excellent.
About Shimon: Shimon has a Bachelor of Commerce, Information Technology Management degree from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. His professional certifications include GCIH, Security+, CEH, and AWS Security Specialist. He has worked in several security-focused roles across many industries.
