Bellamy Taylor-Pines

With experience in curriculum design, educational standards alignment, and teaching, Bellamy works as an Alignment Manager for CSA Education. She manages projects across all disciplines involving alignments to various sets of educational standards. Bellamy interacts with both clients and freelancers to ensure everyone agrees and is clear on the project details, and that projects are completed to client specifications. 

A former second- and third-grade teacher, Bellamy is passionate about creating meaningful content with real-world connections. After teaching for more than seven years, Bellamy shifted her focus to curriculum development and alignment work. Her work in curriculum development has allowed her to create instructional materials for a variety of clients, including museums, statewide education agencies, eLearning websites, and nationwide preschool chains. 

Highlights from Bellamy’s career include the following:

  • Overseeing two grade levels on a curriculum development project for a K-5 Social Studies program
  • Managing the standards alignment portion on several curriculum development projects
  • Writing Science lessons using the 5E instructional model and developing a curriculum map for the planning of future units
  • Supervising projects pertaining to the instruction material adoption process for different states 

Bellamy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Bellamy takes circus arts classes for fun! She is a decent juggler, and she particularly enjoys aerial skills. She also loves traveling and seeking out new adventures. Bellamy has hiked the four-day Inca Trail in Peru, gone scuba diving in Thailand, and done a 150-foot “Tarzan Swing” drop in the Costa Rican rainforest.
