Brian Kozlowski

Director, Operations

As CSA Education’s Director of Operations, Brian is responsible for continuously managing and monitoring all company systems, procedures, schedules, and internal projects. He is responsible for company accounting and project tracking systems and works with the management team to identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Beginning his career as a project coordinator at Arthur Andersen LLP, Brian quickly became known among the senior management for his analytical skill and was sought after to resolve highly technical obstacles. As Vice-President of Internal Audit at Bank of America, he led a team of five internal auditors while mentoring and training new teammates. Brian’s leadership and financial management skills eventually made him the Director of Operations for the Parish of St. Ann, Archdiocese of Chicago. In that role, Brian directed all aspects of the business operation including accounting, marketing, communications, development, and personnel. During the 2020 COVID-19 outbreak, he executed a business continuity strategy to ensure all aspects of parish operations were properly functioning both remotely and onsite.

The following milestones highlight Brian’s career:

  • Creating, evaluating, and presenting the annual budget, the monthly financial forecasts, and all financial reports for St. Ann Catholic Parish
  • Streamlining operations to cut down on waste, improve efficiency, and reduce expenses
  • Administering payroll process and benefits functions and operating as site liaison to Human Resources
  • Exceeding company benchmarks and goals by closing over seventy percent of transactions presented
  • Analyzing processes and streamlining the workflow within groups
  • Partnering with application development teams to engineer application enhancements and overhauls 
  • Designing and administering multiple Lotus notes and MS Access applications
  • Developing procedures manual providing detailed instructions for ongoing projects 
  • Managed and coordinated several projects continuously
  • Developing schedules for routine facilities, equipment, and repair maintenance 

Brian received his MBA with a concentration in Accounting from the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University after graduating from the University of St. Francis with a BBA. 

Brian is a proud dog dad to two terriers that he adopted from PAWS Chicago and is an avid traveler. One of his bucket-list items is to visit all fifty states, and he has already visited forty-five of them.  He has also been a semiprofessional musician since he was fourteen years old.
