Brian Kozlowski

As CSA Education’s Senior Director of Business & Financial Operations, Brian manages and monitors all technology, procedures, schedules, and internal projects. He is also responsible for company accounting, project tracking systems, compliance, strategic planning, and helping to ensure that our project teams meet their financial goals. Brian works with the management team to identify opportunities for improvement and increased efficiency.

Beginning his career as a project coordinator, Brian was recognized by the senior management team for his analytical skills and ability to leverage technology to optimize business outcomes. As a Vice President of Internal Audit, he supervised a team of five internal auditors. In that role, he was responsible for all audits from planning to post-audit phases, reviewing results, and reporting to senior management. Brian’s leadership and financial management skills led him to become Director of Operations of a parish in the Archdiocese of Chicago. While there, he directed all aspects of the business operation, including accounting, budgeting, marketing, communications, development, and personnel. 

The following are highlights of Brian’s CSA career:

• Implementing an Accounts Payable portal to increase efficiency and improve the vendor experience. 
• Teaming up with staff members to identify and define company core values 
• Collaborating with People and Culture Operations to create an onboarding process focused on living our core values to welcome, support, care, lead, and strive 
• Managing streamlining initiatives to improve process and efficiency 
• Participating as a member of the Team CSA support committee and Adopt-a-School initiative

Brian received his MBA with a concentration in Accounting from the Keller Graduate School of Management at DeVry University, and a BBA from the University of St. Francis. 

Brian is a proud dog dad to two terriers that he adopted from PAWS Chicago and is an avid traveler. One of his bucket-list items is to visit all fifty states, and he has already visited forty-seven of them. He is also a semi-professional musician, playing the organ and conducting since he was fourteen years old.
