Kim Fletcher

As Director of Marketing, Kim leads the marketing efforts for CSA and identifies guidelines for producing promotional content and interacting with customers. By developing marketing and service policies, programs, and systems, Kim supports CSA’s strategic direction and helps to align business plans with organizational objectives.
Kim started her career in educational publishing as a Project Editor who managed the higher-ed textbook production process from manuscript to bound book. In that role, Kim built relationships and learned how to effectively communicate with authors, publishers, freelancers, and onshore/offshore colleagues. From there, Kim followed her passion for writing and shifted into several content marketing roles in a variety of industries from finance to manufacturing. She was able to focus on different aspects of both print and digital marketing throughout this time. Kim found her way back to educational publishing and worked as a Project Manager for a publishing vendor, and then Managing Editor, where she supervised the project management team.Â
Milestone highlights in Kim’s career include:
- Developing visual branding guidelines for CSA with a small internal team to effectively communicate the company’s values in a uniform way
- Working with cross-functional teams to create integrated marketing communications that strengthen CSA’s brand
- Managing the print and digital book production process from start to finish, and earning the designation of internal digital resourceÂ
- Growing a manufacturing company’s social media presence from the ground up by creating the strategy and managing the content and moderation for several social media channels
- Developing multimedia marketing campaigns focusing on product values—including support for four lines of business and three global regions
Kim earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing with minors in Communication and Psychology from Purdue University. She is also proficient in several technology platforms including HubSpot, Google Workspace, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, and native social networks.
Kim is a self-proclaimed baking non-professional with a strong affinity for pies. She has been perfecting her grandmother’s secret pie crust recipe since the age of 12. Kim is a busy mom of three kids in the K-12 age range and especially loves seeing the many products that CSA has worked on firsthand from a parent perspective.
