As Senior Editorial Manager of Math at CSA, Kimberly oversees the development of K–12 Math curriculum projects. She assists with the day-to-day workflow of assigned projects, including management of independent contractors. Kimberly ensures on-time and on-budget delivery of high-quality materials that are accurate, consistent, and adhere to client guidelines.
Kimberly has nearly a decade of experience teaching middle-school and high-school Math, including Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, AP Calculus, and AP Statistics. After her classroom experience, Kimberly began working for education solution providers. As a Learning Architect and Learning Experience Designer, she managed development on several programs, serving as Product Owner.
Highlights from Kimberly’s career include the following:
- Writing items for program assessments and computer-adaptive tests for grades 7–12
- Managing K–5 print development, 6–A1 print development, and 6–8 print and digital development for an educational publisher
- Developing print K–12 mathematics content for homeschool, school supply, and GED preparation
- Correlating digital curriculum and assessment items to state standards
- Teaching middle- and high-school Math and earning certifications in K–6 core subjects and 6–12 mathematics, as well as endorsements in ESL and gifted and talented mathematics
Kimberly earned her BS in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M University and her MEd in Curriculum & Technology from the University of Phoenix. She is also a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I), Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I), and proficient in Agile and Jira.
Kimberly is an avid fisherwoman. She fished freshwater bass tournaments competitively for five years. Kimberly is one of about 60 elite saltwater anglers in Texas, and holds a state record. Outside of fishing, she enjoys woodworking and spending time with her sweet rescue dog.
