WCAG compliance and various accessibility requirements are now a de facto necessity for virtually all school districts. WCAG guidelines, and other guidelines, provide a means for compliance. The challenge is that it is often not clear what compliance means for various products, and the educational settings they are in.
That is where CSA can help.
The CSA Education team knows the ins and outs of accessibility compliance as it relates to educational materials. We believe in a proactive approach and that accessibility should be a part of the initial stage of a project. Our team of designers and developers are well-versed in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and truly understand how learners see content so that it can be adapted for all students. By taking the time to define the product and goals up-front, our team of designers and developers can be creative and target what might be missing from an accessibility standpoint.
