Successful Pre-K Curricula Emphasize Play over Academics

February 18, 2021

Preschool is often a child’s first experience in a school environment. These programs provide support for working parents while carefully introducing children to the school experience. With more cities and states designating additional funding for preschool curricula, publishers understand the importance of creating programs that strike a balance between basic academic skills and activities that encourage teamwork and empathy. Developers know that it’s difficult for young children to pay attention to a teacher for long periods of time, but a school day can’t consist purely of unstructured playtime.

CSA Education’s background in Grades K–2 gives us the insight to craft your products specifically for a prekindergarten setting. We’ve created prekindergarten activities that align with California Preschool Learning Foundations and developed teacher’s guides for pre-K ELA and math. We work with experts to ensure that your programs develop a positive classroom experience for all ages. A head start in education can advance a child’s educational development, but equally important is that kids need to be kids. Give them exciting ways to learn, and they will find joy in school.
