Interviewer: What is your name?
Chelsea: Chelsea Hutto
Interviewer: What is your position at CSA?
Chelsea: Project Manager
Interviewer: What does that position entail?
Chelsea: For my projects, I create the project schedule and tracker, manage budgets, take care of file management and posting files to the clients, and help out freelancers. Basically, I coordinate all the tasks that go into getting a project off the ground and running. As Project Managers, we are also the main contact for the client for the majority of the project’s needs.
Interviewer: How did you become a part of CSA?
Chelsea: I knew about CSA, and when I heard there was a Project Management position opening up, I jumped at the chance to work with these amazing people!
Interviewer: What is the best part of your job?
Chelsea: I love meeting new people all the time! Each project is a chance to work with someone new.
Interviewer: What do you wish people knew about your work at CSA?
Chelsea: There is a lot that goes into managing a project. We have to track information coming in from multiple places and keep it all sorted. You need to have excellent attention to detail and be very organized for this job. I also really enjoy making a spreadsheet.
Interviewer: What do you wish schools focused on more in terms of education and why?
Chelsea: I wish they would focus more on compassion and empathy and focus less on standardized testing.
Interviewer: What are three interesting facts about you?
Chelsea: I LOVE to crochet. I also have an obsession with watching all the cheesy Hallmark movies (especially the Christmas ones). And I have had the same group of friends since 6th grade and we still talk every single day.
